Traktor Kontrol MK1 + Windows 11

I'm having an issue with my Traktor Kontrol S4 MK1 and my Dell Latitude 3410 laptop (Windows 11). The controller freezes every 5 minutes or less; the audio stops and then comes back shortly after, making it impossible to use the equipment on this computer. When I connect the Kontrol to my desktop, it works perfectly, without any freezing or anything like that. Has anyone had this problem and can share some tips on how to solve it? Thanks in advance for the support.

Does it also happen when the x1 is not connected?

And also what do you mean by "freezes" is it just audio that freezes or is it the controller? Do you have to restart Traktor when it happens?

It’s not an X1 but a Kontrol S4 MK1. When I connect it to my laptop and start playing a music on Deck A or any other, the music freezes while it’s playing. The audio from Traktor stops for half a second and then comes back, making it impossible to keep playing because it's really annoying. I really don’t know what it could be. I’ve changed the cable and have Traktor Pro 4 fully updated. On my other desktop computer, everything works perfectly. I’ve also tested it on another friend’s laptop, and the same problem occurs.

No. When I connect it to my laptop and start playing a music on Deck A or any other deck, the music freezes while it’s playing. The audio from Traktor stops for half a second and then comes back, and this keeps happening every 2 to 3 minutes, making it impossible to keep playing on this laptop.

    Hello @millhausy

Do you have the correct drivers/software updates?

If you connect Native Instruments hardware to a USB 3.0 port, make sure to install the latest drivers. Also install the latest firmware for your hardware with the corresponding Device Updater.

    Hello friend,
Thanks for your answer. All drivers for both Kontrol S4 MK1 and the notebook are completely up to date. My Traktor is PRO 4, I've tried everything that could be done regarding updates and Latency settings. It keeps crashing the same way. Remembering that on my other desktop computer it works perfectly, without any crashes.
