KK doesn't start s25 mk2 in full mode
So I connect my s25 mk2 that I recently bought second-hand, open KK and s25 stays in stand alone mode, no integration or navigation. I can see it in KK midi settings but not in the top menu in controller section. KK is updated, the keyboard is registered.

P.S.
Downgrading to KK 2.9.6 will bring back full functionality.
No , it will probably not since as I wrote earlier then Sonoma users have to use K.K. version at least V. 3.2
Still thank you very much at Dissekt , I need to be a lot better at questioning the information that I get from people here. The Kontrol MK1 keyboards does not support Mac OS Sonoma other than as a generic Midi controller.
No wonder I got completely confused here.

Hello,
please have a look here, most likely point 5 and 6 should fix it.

I have checked and both services are running and full disk access is enabled as well

Did you try something simple such as , while running Komplete Kontrol as stand-alone with full disk access , then in Komplete Kontrol settings then check mark the input marked Port 1 and 2 also ? .
Else try removing the keyboard from the Apple OS list of hardware and then add it again.

P.S. Also please state versions of software used , e.g. Mac OS version and Komplete Kontrol version and Native Access version ?
Also please give screenshot of where it is that the keyboard does not show and you expect it to show or explain same in more detail.

This the state of the keyboard. It stays like that without navigation or other integrated controls. As in not showing an instrument in KK and not controlling selection or playback in Ableton.
I assume it should show up in this device list when working correctly.
I have tried marking the input marked Port 1 and 2 while running Komplete Kontrol as stand-alone with full disk access.
I have tried deleting the device from midi studio window in mac os.
I'm running
KK 3.3.3
Native Access 3.14.0
Mac OS Sonoma

KK 3.3.3 , Native Access 3.14.0 , Mac OS Sonoma
Thank you for the information , that made it infinite easier to at least try to give a qualified guess.
A while back there were a connection issue that supposedly were solved by a K.K. update , ref. : SOLVED: Komplete Kontrol 3.3.0 caused connection issues with Kontrol A, M and SMK2 series keyboards.
Though I can not say for sure then my immediate guess is that you could have been hit by a similar issue. Problem is however that as a Sonoma user then you have to use K.K. version at least 3.2 and also then some genius decided to remove the the Komplete Kontrol 3.2.1 roll-back that were supplied when the previous issue were discovered. I not being a N.I. employee then I have no access to resources not available in public so I have no access to previous versions other than what is provided in public already and even if I had saved a Mac version then I would not be allowed to create downloads myself.
Hence I am forced to call for help from N.I. staff who alas do not work weekends so you will have to wait for N.I. staff to arrive. I did locate a K.K. v. 3.2 over at Mac.Informer but I can neither guarantee the safety of the download nor do I know what is difference between that and 3.2.1 on Sonoma.
[Pings for Jeremy_NI and Matthew_NI removed since the user supplied incorrect information on keyboard model version] (sorry about that)

So I uninstalled KK 3.3.3 and got 3.2.1 going….still no luck.

Please check all the steps in the article : My Komplete Kontrol Keyboard Does Not Start , including if the "NIHardwareAgent" and "NIHostIntegrationAgent" actually exist in the specified Library>Hardware folder

Yep, both "NIHardwareAgent" and "NIHostIntegrationAgent" are there and running

The OP has a Mk1 version of the controller which is no longer supported. There was no S25 Mk2.
Downgrading to KK 2.9.6 will bring back full functionality.

Well….now I feel silly.
Also, what the heck, NI?

Thank you very much , the thought occurred to me that that could be the case but I wrote it off as could not be since the person specifically did write MK2. Thank you for informing on the subject.
Well….now I feel silly.
@a3at , not half as silly as I feel for not listening to myself when I got the thought that you were sitting with a MK1 and for not trusting myself more than what you wrote.

It should be fine. It was working for me on Sonoma last year.
I’ve just dragged my old S25 out of storage to test and it’s still working absolutely fine with KK 2.9.6 on Sequoia.1 -

Thank you for that. Then let's hope that it works just as fine for a3at , I have no Mac and have to stick with the N.I. (in this case compatibility) information that I have 🤔
