Recording A Performance in Audio.

Being used to using the SP404 MKII, I prefer to record improvisationally to create a track/song to capture the inspiration and performance instead of meticulously arranging and automating in song mode. Is there a simple way to record the audio of multiple groups/tracks/scenes/patterns onto a single group/track (or individual groups/tracks e.g. record a performance with each group recorded to an individual group/track). Thx

You can sample the master to any pad. You go to sampling, then select source "Internal" and input "Master"

if you select “master” for input when sampling, you should be able to do that.

In the channel settings? There is no Master input setting. But I think I figured it out - its the "internal" as source setting in the audio sampler > then choose group/track input.

Not sure was initial question about Maschine+ or desktop Maschine, but on M+ there are the following options on the Page 2 of Sampling. And selecting Internal/Master allows to sample whatever sound your M+ produces

Great - thanks to all! Ya, it also appears that, once I can choose internal source, I can also choose individual tracks/groups as the input so...hypothetically, I could record a full performance but record individual group tracks separately for later EQing or additional processing :)

Theres also free recording plugins out there, which in some situations can make things more flexible, MRecorder for example:
