Quantization for recorded audio material

One of the most important features still missing for the sampler is the ability to quantize recorded audio material. This is particularly important in the Maschine Plus and unfortunately remains a missing feature for recorded guitars or other instruments.

If you're looking for 'warp markers' or something equivalent, then doubt very much that will happen anytime soon, especially on the + with limited CPU resources for stretching.

A trick you can do if timing is just a bit off is to record at a bit of a slower BPM and slice the instruments, then you can quantize the midi triggering the slices and change to the original BPM. Works mostly on things with easy transients and it's def not perfect.

thanks @D-One for the tipp, I will check this out. What I basically was asking for is a sort of audio quantize feature like you can find in major DAW like cubase. Are you really sure this is a CPU heavy process? However I would love to have that implemented. Think about all the people who record theyr instruments live in Maschine+.

    Cheers
