Setting up a Maschine mk1 that was gifted to me on mac os

I recently got gifted a maschine mk1 from a friend (just the unit) and I am trying to set it up on my mac air m1 and activate it with NI I only have the 12 digit s/n on the bottom by the barcode and I cannot find a working driver, I am running OS 13.6 and I am need of help to get it all in working order and up and running

maschine mk1 does not work with the m1 series of apple computers… unfortunately

will work easy enough with a windows10 pc…

maschine mk2 & maschine mk3 work fine… mk1 does not… i've tried alot of methods to get it working. but nope no go

I plugged it in via usb and it lit up but that was all

it sux i know!!
i have x3 maschine mk1's i picked up on the cheap… but i also have some PC's so not a huge loss….
