Problem loading Vocal Colors

Hello all,

I just recently installed Komplete 15. Upon attempting to load Vocal Colors, it's taking forever to load. Now I've noticed that sometimes an instrument may take a while to load when using it the first time, but it's taking 5-10 minutes to load a sound in Vocal Colors every time that I try.

I am using a 2015 iMac (4ghz I7 quad, 24gb ram, External 2TB ssd)

Anyone else having this issue? Any idea what it might be?

    There's obviously something wrong with your basic installation of the library. I'm on a Windows 10 machine with 16gb of memory and have the Vocal Colors library installed on an external 6TB SSD and my internal system drives are also SSD. Even the initial load only takes 5 or 6 seconds and presets are 1 or 2 seconds. Since it seems to be confined to just Vocal Colors I'd first check the library installation in Native Access to make sure there's nothing wrong with the installation. Beyond that you might try temporarily disabling any anti-virus software that's running as many of those can be quite problematic as far as load times.

    Other than that it could be related to your system drive if you're not configured with SSD's there.

    Did you install the library on an external hard drive? Then it should be APFS, as noted here: Notes on Hard Drive Formats on Mac Computers
