Installed but not getting sound on Spitfire Chamber

Installed, appears in Kontakt, but am not getting sound when I play. When I load a sound, I hear the example sound, but nothing happens when I play. When I load my other Kontakt libraries, this is not an issue. What am I doing wrong, or what did I do wrong on installation?

Sometimes Spitfire libraries take a LONG time to load. Try turning your volume up. Spitfire libraries are obnoxiously quiet compared to other plug ins. As a test, when you select a note on your keyboard, do you see the volume meter in the plug in move at all?

Hi Pranaearth, thank you for getting back. The library seems to be fully loaded, and the sample sounds play when I load an instrument. No volume signal in ProTools on the instrument channel that Kontakt is loaded on.

Since you’re hearing the audition files it appears the library/ DAW is functional. As mentioned I would verify that your midi controller is generating input to the library.

I’d suggest checking your keyboard/ DAW Midi channels/ ports/ assignments.

Thanks for replying, Griswald! I’m not having the issue when I use any NI library in Kontakt on the same track using the same MIDI controller. The issue is only happening when I use the 3rd-party library. I have support tickets with NI and Spitfire started, so hopefully I get it sussed out soon!
