Traktor Pro 4 sync issue with two controllers

We used to run B2B gigs with two guys' controllers hooked up to one laptop (Z1+X2mk2 and S2 mk3). Worked fine on multiple shows. I upgraded to Traktor 4 this summer and we had some sync issues going on last night at a show.

Basically what would happen when the other guy starts bringing songs in on his controller, they would visually line up perfectly with the beatgrid but not actually be matched. We'd have to adjust them by ear on the cans to where it's noticeably off grid on the screen but would sound fine.

We tried having all the controllers in the same USB hub, or separately in different USB ports. No difference. Each time I started choosing songs, the first one would be off again slightly but the next ones would be fine as long as I stuck to my controller. Same happens when he got on his controller again.

This never happened in Traktor 3. What could cause this?

Are you sure that the grid for those songs where just not right?

It sounds a bit odd that the grid would be wrong depending on what controller pressed the load button.

Man, you're right. Played some of those same songs the next weekend by myself and the grid was slightly off on them. Had to reanalyze them. Stupid me. Hope someone reads this and learns something.
