"Sounds to MIDI notes" not sounding the same?

When I use "sounds to midi note" to drag a pattern into lives arrangement or session view I have to transpose the notes up two octaves so the kick falls on C3 (middle C) yet the pitch of notes is all off is there a better solution to this or away to open push as a 16 channel midi group in Ableton like there used to be. Taking in to account that that's probably not the best solution since a Maschine instance may have more than one set of pad groups!?!

Sounds to MIDI Notes yields mapping of Pads to MIDI pitches:

    • Pad 1 (Kick 1) = C1
    • Pad 2 (Snare 1) = C#1
    • Pad 3 (HH closed) = D1
    • Pad 4 (HH open) = D#1
    • Pad 5 (Kick 2) = E1
    • Pad 6 (Snare 2) = F1
    • Pad 7 (Perc 1) = F#1
    • Pad 8 (Perc 2) = G1
    • etc.

Therefore you will lose all pitch information from each of the Pads (Sounds).

If you play back a Pattern exported with Sounds to MIDI Notes, you have to set the Group / MIDI / Routings / Key Mode settings to Manual. Each Pad (Sound) will then react as if it receives a MIDI C3.

If you intentionally pitched the notes for each of the Pads (Sounds), you cannot use Sounds to MIDI Notes but must use Sounds to MIDI Channels instead.

Thanks for the answer, I saw a tutorial on how to use Ableton Clips to trigger Maschine 2 and it's a bit tedious. Wish they would update Maschine to have drag and drop compatibility with drum rack to utilise Ableton new midi editting capabilities
