I think that's an obs settings issue, look into all the audio "devices" you have added there and check the settings for sources. You may have set the interface output as source not the mic input.

If your mic is in the same room as your computer, then yes - a sensitive mic will pick up the sound of your computer (fan noise etc).

okay. i will clarify i just want to use the mic in obs for streaming.

It s not that the mic picks up sound from the room wich it actually should do. it takes up the sound from the sound output. so like all my desktop sounds. let it be youtube games other apps… when i speak into the mic it does not pick that up. i am sure that its not the mic itself but a problem with the adio 1

i think this has happened since i updated my pc to windows 11. I updated the driver from the audio 1 but no results

I connected the LCT 240 pro mic with an xlr cable to the in from the audio 1 and my speakers and headset to the outputs.

Which version of OBS? Streamlabs or Studio?

Streamlabs version won't work with ASIO without a plugin.

Streamlabs. idk know about this but it used to work beforehand ? also just testing it in windows itself it doesnt pick up audio from the mic just like loops the desktop output audio right trough to the mic input as it seems.
