Why do I have 91 "Repair" instruments out of my 170 installed so far

I am performing a fresh install after upgrading from Kontakt 10 ultimate to Kontakt 15 Collector's edition, and over half of my instruments have a "Repair" icon next to them. This is a new computer, with no previous instruments on it, new install of Native Access. The only thing I did was select an external drive for the library location, and click Install All. It appears as though these may mostly be older instruments. Why does the "repair" status not give more information on why it's broken? It just downloaded it, so I don't think a repair will do anything, but I'm still waiting on the other 150 instruments to finish downloading before I can try that. Looks like it will be several days, because the downloads are terribly slow, even though I have a 1g pipe. Increase your server bandwidth NI; you just released a new set of instruments after all…

If these are just older instruments from my Kontakt 10 library, then how do I prevent them from showing up in my list altogether. If they no longer work, why am I allowed to download them?

    Hello,

seems strange to me, are you sure that the ext drive has a stable connection. Do you had the repair issue before installing anything?

Oh for crying out loud. I just tried to run Kontakt 8, and it's repeatedly hard rebooting my Mac. I tried opening Komplete Kontrol in my DAW, and it shows almost no instruments out of the 100s I have downloaded. This software is a disaster!

So, I just cancelled all downloads, very much looking into getting a refund on this nonsense and heading over to East West. While cancelled, I decided to try a repair. I clicked repair and Reinstall. It popped up my Preferences and selected File Management, and had a red exclamation mark icon next to my drive. I missed it at first, but this ridiculous software added a 1 to the end of my volume name. My volume name, for external drive, which has never had a 1 in it ever. Please tell me I'm getting pranked.

Does anyone know how to get in contact with NI for at minimum support or refund? I've been in chat forever waiting for someone. I just want to email a human, don't care if it takes them a day or two to respond. I can't leave chat open the rest of my life.

    Hello,

I can mark @Martiniix_NI and hopefully youll get some help. It seems that you have the rights issue on your Mac:

Thanks, I just uninstalled everything. I've been sitting in the chat window for 2 hours waiting for it to "connect me with support", so I'll try rebooting in a while and reinstalling things. I see the kernel panic issue is widespread and has been since January, so I have little hope it will solve my problem, but will give it a try for sure, because maybe I'll at least be able to use my daw. Thanks for the suggestion!
