Kontakt 8 mouse control issues on zoom factors other than 100%

Hi,

I experience heavy glitches on some Kontakt instruments while using Kontakt 8 on a higher zoom factor than 100% (125%). This causes the values of rotary controls and XY Pads glitching and jumping abruptly to other values. I tested it with other zoom factors lower and higher than 100% and the issue occurs every time although the glitch "direction" is the opposite on lower zoom factors than on higher zoom factors. It only works fine on 100%. Tested it on Scene: Saffron (XY Pad and rotaries) and Conflux (rotaries).

Did anyone else experience those issues on Kontakt 8? On Kontakt 7 Scene: Saffron works fine on any zoom factor (Conflux cannot be cross checked as it is K8+ only)

I also experience this same issue on all Zoom settings including 100%. When changing the Zoom quality to "Best Performance" it is slightly better but provides a lower quality, slightly blurry UI visual unfortunately.

The zoom function of Kontakt vas suboptimal in K7 and, honesty said, didn't improve in K8 unless you are using the new GUI which is bad, if you have libraries, only accessible via "Files". Anyway, Native Instruments support was able to reproduce the issue and confirmed it. The development has this issue already listed in their system to fix it.

Great, thank you for letting us know that it is a confirmed issue, and that they have listed it to solve. I hope it is done soon. It is disappointing that Kontakt 8 was released with this issue.

The glitching of rotary pots in 'Leap' is also appalling when playing a sample and moving a rotary pot like 'Cutoff' for example. Completely unplayable!

Assumedly on a zoom factor other than 100%? It's somewhat embarrasing that an issue like this slipped through Q&A. Many users have WQHD (2k) or 4K displays and Kontakt's GUI is so incredibly small on those. Not to forget about this blur when you zoom in. I hoped for a better algorithm to scale the GUI but unfortunately, it's still this blurry GUI when using the classic mode (which I prefer as I have a decent amount of libraries only accessible via files and I didn't find any file browser on the new GUI (apart from the menu but that's a bad way to navigate through your libraries).

It happens on any zoom value for me unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be related to the zoom settings on my system. The glitching of rotary pots, and the related signal, is terrible when actually playing notes and trying to move a rotary pot or XY control. It is terrible! Especially as these 'live-performance' elements are so important, I am surprised they didn't notice any of this before releasing Kontakt 8, or released it anyway regardless of such bugs!
