What do you think? Order a new S4 or have it repaired?

Hello,
as far as i can see it depends on your soldering iron skills, for the channel faders to change you definitely need one, the cross fader is easier to replace. But if you have to pay someone to repair it for you i would use the money for a new S4 and try to sell the denon as defective, so someone else can repair it.
