Maschine 2 to trigger Studio One 6 Impact ?
Can someone help on getting Maschine 2 to trigger S1 Impact? In the software I don't have the Template 1 that was talked about in the few You tube videos and on the NI site I found. When I did get it going a bit only a few of the pads were triggering on Impact. Maybe just point me in the right direction for making a template ( I believe it's called mapping) through the NI Controller editor to make this happen. Can it even be done is a good place to start
Thank you

Hello,
in midi mode you change octaves by using the group buttons, try to use another "group" note range by pressing the group buttons. Or switch them according to your maschine model. You can also use the controller editor software to make your own mappings, maybe also use the knobs to control something on that instrument. Maybe have a look into that manual:

Thank you for the answer , I finally got it. If I could ask one more, I spread a waves loop across the Impact XT in group A, when I open the control editor, I can change the Mapping notes on the Maschine (original controller, Maschine 2 Software) but afterwards ( w/ controller editor still open on task bar) a couple of the pads trigger a 2nd sound. One triggers a flute w/ a drum hit and a few other pads trigger horns w/ the drum hit. My midi keyboard is doing the exact same thing when controlling the Impact XT plugin. There is not a second group on Impact with sounds on it. I believe the Maschine and the keyboard are not adding in this sound to the triggered hot on Impact. Any suggestions directions to continue the investigation?

I don't know that sampler, but maybe you have something loaded on another group, so just check that or you layered sounds on every pad, you see then tabs over the waveform as far as I could find out Or really create a new project and insert one xt sampler, then load a sample on a pad on group a and try it out. So then you know it can work without layers. Also have a look into the daws mixer there you should see where the sound comes from.
