How to change BPM of middle grid sections

I haven't touched traktor in years, but this new flexible grid feature made me take a look again.

But I'm getting some unexpected behaviour when setting a grid for a track with variable bpm. When you set multiple grid markers, only in the last section can you change the bpm in a normal fashion. In the sections that have another grid marker at the end, the 'bpm inc/dec' buttons make huge jumps of instead of 0.001 or 0.01. Also directly editing the bpm value is only possible in the last section.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

You are doing nothing wrong and it's also not a bug.

You can't have sections with "half a beat" that means the beats get evenly distributed between two grid markers.

To change a bpm a bit, you would need to move one of the grid markers slightly.

Ah, yes I get it.

When two markers are good but in between it's still off, just add more markers.
