X1 MK3: How add a new mode page to mode select button ?

The mapping that came with the controller x1 mk3 ( firmware 0.2.7) is very poore, so,

how can add new modes pages to the mode select button at device top to access different section of traktor, for example, the looper, the recorder, maybe one full deck parameters like filter, gain, master tempo, one page for remix decks, etc..

I only see the midi mode with shift , but just one page for everything is difficult, would be better one page for secctions of the traktor

is that possible ?

It's possible. I am working on a stem control mode for the x1, although work has progressed with many interruptions. You can check my signature (below my post) for a community mod to improve overall performance of the controller by adjusting the qml-code (basic mapping) of the x1.

It's doable but unless you bring some basic programming skills (in any language) it's hard to get started.

If you are using midi mode, you can design several overlays to cycle through using modifiers. As above, basic understanding in boolean logic is very helpful.

So, you haven't read the post, just skimmed it.

The first mod incorporates the browse mode and has the most comprehensive overhaul, 1 file for TP3.11.1, 1 file for TP4.0.2

The second mod (the minimal mod) leaves out the browse mode and most additions, fixes the tempo control and removes the mixer overlay (only FX switches with the mode button), again 1 file for TP3.11.1, 1 file for TP4.0.2

Everything below that are mods for TP3.10, when the X1 was just introduced and can be completely ignored. I should just remove that section i suppose, to remove the confusion.

You only download a single pack (that contains a folder with many files) from among the first two variants. Please read the installation instructions at the top so you don't have to reinstall traktor.

thanks..I see that there are several files, is there one that integrates them all or do I upload them one by one? Or where is the list of all these mappings / patches?
