In case of updating from K14 Ult. CE to K15 Ult. without CE: what will happen to the VSTs existing in K14 Ult. CE which K15 Ult. does not contain (for example Lores)?

The only way this could work is if you have a separate (standalone and additional ) license for K13 ULT
But if you used your existing K13 ULT license as an "upgrade" stepping stone to get to K14 CE - those are considered one license now.
You cannot use that K13 ULT over again for a different upgrade.

Can't see this qualifying as an "update" as moving from K14 CE to 15 ULT (no CE) would represent a downgrade. (and possibly a full license purchase)
Best to check with NI to see what this looks like.
It‘s offered as an update from K13 Ult., but I have already updated to K14 Ult. CE.
But I know what you mean, so I have to check it with NI for sure…
