Controling Komplete Audio 1 volume through windows and computer keyboard

I am using Komplete Audio 1 as an external audio card to my Windows PC. I use it for example to manage the audio stream of Windows without any DAW (ex: to hear the sound of an MP3 file, the sounds of windows…). Works well. But the volume/mute buttons of my keyboard (or in the quicklaunch audio icon) have no effect. Is there any way to control mute and volume using my computer keyboard / windows settings? NB: if I want to change volume, only option today is to physically use the knob on the Komple Audio box. Thanks

The windows setting (defining Audio Komple 1 as the default device for Audio) was the solution. Thanks a lot!

    Hello,

what keyboard do you use, what brand and model, maybe you need a driver, or you need to press a function (Fn) button + another button in order for it to work. Also have a look here:

I use a common Logitech keyboard with media keys. The issue is that these media keys are associated with the internal audio chip of my computer motherboard. They are not associated with Komplete Audio 1 USB external audio card

Why don't you disable the internal soundcard in bios or set the audio 1 as main interface in audio settings. You can do that by clicking on the speaker sign in the task bar normally and open settings from there.
