Guitar rig 5

Hi if someone can please point me in the right direction.

I don't know much about these things as I have Guitar Rig 5, which I haven't purchased yet and when the session runs out it temporarily freezes my DAW.

I read that you can purchase the cheapest version for 109 dollars which I'm interested to do, but not sure if I do this whether it would still time out as it's the cheapest option. I know Guitar Rig 5 is a bit outdated but I like Atmo Git but recently learned the updated versions have this as well. I think Rig 5 is still good or should purchase 6 or 7?

Also with 6 and 7 is there a cheap option to purchase as well and please how much?

If someone can please let me know?

I don't think you can buy GR5 now, and it's way out of support anyway. You can get the player version of GR7 free as part of the Komplete Start package which you can download from here - Komplete Start | Free music production software (native-instruments.com)

It doesn't time out, but you're limited on the included amps/cabs/effects. The cheapest way to get GR7 is in the sales, either the big summer one in July or possibly around Black Friday in November.
