Anyone having import issues in Traktor Pro 4?

Longtime Traktor user. Over 300,000 tracks in my collection. Now that the latest release of Traktor Pro 4 has come out, I can no longer import any new music. When I import a new file, it shows up in the Collection but will not analyze and when I drag it to a Deck, I just get the spinning beachball of death and have to force quit Traktor. Have tried with multiple files is different formats and none work.

Any ideas?

Here on Windows 11 update from Traktor Pro 3 to Traktor Pro 4 no problems.

Maybe it's because of your unknown operating system?

Newly downloaded tracks are not being identified on my T4(latest version) as well. My OS win 11 64bit . Everything is up to date. This started after the last TRAKTOR update.

OK, so I discovered a crazy workaround that always works. Not sure why but it does.

    Here are the steps:

    1. Located a single new file that you want to import to Traktor.
    2. Drag the file from a finder window onto "Collection" in the Traktor browser pane. I used to start in the browser pane, locate the file on my external hard drive there and right click and select "add as track" but that doesn't work anymore for some reason.
    3. A pop-up window will ask if you want to analyze the track. Say Yes.
    4. This is the key - after the track is imported, you can't just drag it into a deck, this will hang Traktor and give you the eternal spinning beachball of death. What you need to do first is RIGHT CLICK ON THE TRACK AND SELECT "CHECK CONSISTENCY" . This can take as long as 5 minutes per track but after it is complete, you can re-analyze the track and everything will work fine from then on.

Wish it wasn't this hard but at least I can now add music again. Good Luck.
