Instrument not Initialized error in Kontakt 7 Player
I am extremely new to Kontakt, so I am not trying to do anything fancy. I would like to load samples from Spitfire's Albion One library. I have that downloaded and registered in native access. In Kontakt 7 Player, the instruments will load, but I receive the error "Instrument not initialised - Please make sure Kontakt is connected to an audio output or linked to your DAW."
I am not using a DAW and my audio device is set to my basic Realtek(R) Audio. I do not hear anything. I have tried reinstalling Kontakt. The error also occurs with Spitfire Solo Strings. Please help

The only help I can offer is a gentle suggestion to consider a real ASIO interface to use with Kontakt.
A built in Realtek card is not an option in any way.

Obviously make sure you have set the Audio to your sound card in Help>Options.
Make sure no other programme (e.g. audio editor, media player) is using the audio card at the same time.
(I have used the native Realtek sound card for ~20 years without problems. You get latency but you can cure this by installing the free ASIO4ALL software)
