Thank you! I will proceed with the re-installation of those licenses in Windows. I will contact you in a few days, do you mind? Again, thank you for the information, and for giving me some hope, whatever ends up happening:)

No problem. Post back if you need more assistance.

It's really very very simple. If you have got the three "dll" files all you have to do is make sure they are placed where Ableton expects them to be.
Kontakt 5 is a VST2 plugin, and according to your 2nd picture, Ableton expects VST2 plugins to be at this precise location:
"C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\VST plugins 64 bit" (quite different from what you said in your last post.)
So put them there! If you're not sure, check that they are real by right-clicking on them and click "Properties". The address must be exactly as specified. Check every space and comma.
You can change the location if you want, where it says Buscar. There's no need to, but if you do there are less likely to be spelling mistakes.
If you've somehow lost the files you can download the Kontakt 5 Player from the NI website. If you need the full version of Kontakt you'll probably need to contact the authors to get a link.

Thank you very much, Stephen, for the reply. Unfortunately it is far from being simple. There has to be something else I couldn´t figure out, since those "dll" files are exactly at "C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\VST plugins 64 bit" as they always were when everything worked just fine. It hasn´t been a situation where I tried to change something and messed up. It just went to functioning like a Swiss clock to no music at all in one hour with no action on my part except turning off/on the computer.
I will try to get the licenses back in Windows and proceed with your suggested re-download of Kontakt 5 Player or the full version.
Thanks again and I will keep you informed after this week.0 -
Sorry, misunderstood your account. (That pathway was not in the search list that you showed us.)
Clearly something was corrupted when you switched your PC on and off. A glitch. What I would try:-
- Tell Ableton again where the plugins are in case there is an invisible error somewhere. Click on Buscar and just navigate to the folder where the 3 files are. "Rescan" plugins if necessary. If that doesn't work:
- Create a new folder for VST2 plugins somewhere, perhaps near the original. Copy the 3 dll files to it (hold down Ctrl button if you use "drag and Drop" so there's a "+ Copy" ). Direct Ableton to it by clicking on Buscar. If that doesn't work:
- Reinstall Ableton and start again: direct it to the files as before.
- As a last resort replace the dll files if you have another copy or can get one. (I think you should be able to get them via Native Access - or from Drive E:\ in your search list, whatever that was)

Thank you, Stephen, for your suggestions. I will get there, but I have to start by relocating the licenses in my Windows device, now to be found at my Mac laptop.
