Void Eclipse problem with Maschine +

After trying ALL it can be done to have this expansion on Maschine +, impossible to see it on the hardware.

So Native Instruments have to fix it...when you spend 50 bucks for something not working, and the only answer from NI is "upload it by SD card"...wich is impossible by Maschine + nature...think they have to do something rapidly.

Hi, I've purchased the techno bundle including Void Eclipse, but it is not showing under my Maschine+ library.. I even tried to manually copy it to the SD card but it didn't work. What could be the issue?

I think maybe they built it with a newer version of software or app, so Maschine (desktop) sees it but the Plus doesn't. @Jeremy_NI or other staff…. care to comment?

I just got a reply from NI support (Ross), but they've only suggested copying files over manually (which according to Nahum doesn't work). No answer as to why it doesn't appear in the normal fashion.

Yes it's clear now that it's not an isolated incident. Still no official response though, as to why this is happening (when the product page states that it's "optimised for Maschine+").

I can only assume nobody at NI checked it.

I suspect we might need an updated + firmware.

They probably checked it on their hardware (running a newer OS) and forgot that we don't have that version.

Dame for me. Tried factory settings, re upload all libraries, update, and Void is not here.

Don't try to upload by SD card, that's a waste of time.

Official reply from support:

"I have discussed this issue with the development team and unfortunately this expansion requires an update to the Maschine Plus. The development team are currently working on this update and it will be available soon. Unfortunately they do not have a date they can communicate as to when it will be released."

I have now been told that it requires an update to Maschine Plus……………..but there's no release date for that update.

Why on earth did they offer this for sale without either checking it worked on the current version, or clearly stating the restrictions on the product page?

Thanks everyone for confirming and sharing that this is not an issue on my side.

It is beyond my understanding how do you release an expansion for a product without testing it out first that it is actually working on the product… I mean, I've purchased it with the thought and intention to use it mainly on Maschine +..
