How Do I Connect My Kontrol S49 To Logic Pro again?

I just got my Kontrol S49 a few days ago, and when I used it for the first time with Logic Pro, it asked if I wanted to auto assign the controls, and I said yes. That worked seamlessly and all the sounds worked. Unfortunately, I tried to plug it in again today, and it did not give me the prompt to auto assign, and the screen of my Kontrol is just on the "Default MIDI Template" screen. I tried looking through the help section of the website, but the "Control Surface Settings" page on logic did not have the options displayed on the Native website. What else can I do to either get logic to recognize the keyboard and auto assign again or assign myself if necessary. Thank you!

Hey @deanjg What model is your Mac and what's your operating system? What version of Logic are you using?

There was a firmware update for the keyboards recently. Did you have to update your device?

To ensure full compatibility with the keyboard, our software and your system, you need to have the following installed on your system:

    • Komplete Kontrol 3.3.2
    • Kontakt 7.10.6
    • Hardware Connection Service 1.7.6
    • Kontrol OS 1.7.6 (firmware version of the keyboard).

Then check if everything is functional in Komplete Kontrol or Kontakt in standalone. Can you browse, load, play and control a preset?

Make sure that you give full disk access to Logic, Komplete Kontrol, Kontakt. How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

To reset Logic controller surfaces you can delete this file:

    Macintosh HD/Users/Username/Library/Preferences/com.apple.logic.pro.cs

Note: the User Library folder is hidden. To access it, click on Go in the menu bar and press down the Alt

key. You'll now find the Library entry in the menu:
