Loading Softube synths in Komplete Kontrol 3.3.2 crashes Logic
High, just discovered that if I load any of Softubes Synth (Model 72, 82, 84) in KK and then close the KKs window it makes Logic (11.0.1) unstable and forces you to restart. Not sure if it is since 3.3.2 or 3.3.1. I use NKS from Freelance Soundlabs (but also happens if i "just load the plugin"). On Sonoma 14.6.1, Macbook Pro M1.

Confirmed here, also on M1

But not just in Logic - seems to crash every host I've tried so far

And with some Softube fx (seems to be newer ones, Tzar was fine but Amp Room crashed)

Filed a bug report with NI but this is probably more of a Softube issue so I've also filed a report with them

Confirmed here as well. Thank you, Kymeia, for reporting it to Softube. Their support is great and if it is at their end they will surely fix it, hopefully soon enough.

Question would be for those willing to test, does the issue occur with the previous KK V2? I am taking a wild stab in the dark to say that KK V2 would work just fine since I have heard of this issue with other plugins and a roll back to V2 has solved the problem. I don't own an M1 machine and still use V2 on my mac and PC, both are fine. The fact it crashes only when you close the KK GUI suggests an issue with KK to me.

Actually I can test that as I still have the VST2 of KK2.9.6 and it doesn't crash in the one host I have it loading in (Reaper in Rosetta mode).
However I do have a separate issue when trying to load from the Freelance NKS for Parallels in all versions of KK

Yep, pretty much what others have said with other plugins that seem to just crash when KK is closed. Mac only issue as no one so far has reported to me any issues on Windows. It's just another of many reasons I feel KK is just no longer a reliable product and every macOS update seems to make it more unstable.
That error with Parallels, not had anyone report that one through and first question I would ask there is if it occurs in the standalone KK outside of a DAW? Also, did that also occur in the V3 of the plugin?
Of course on Windows this is not an issue:
I don't have Parallels installed on my mac

Yeah it happens in the standalone too and in KK2 and KK3

Plugin up to date (I assume it is)?
If you save out a few presets does it load them again?
If so, email me directly the saved out presets and I will check a few known things in the NKS files that could cause some issues. It is likely an ID issue in the NKS files which if I know the ID reported by your mac in the NKS files I can see if this is a cause for the issue tho it's strange I have not had any reports of this.
Please also make sure if you send the files to detail the version of KK you are on (if it is 2.9.6 that is fine) and also your plugin version.

Oddly just resaving one seems to have fixed it most of the time, the warning is still occasionally popping up but pretty randomly
