I just did updates and Glaze, Analog Dreams and Twenty Five don't appear in Kontakt only in Kontakt 7 but I used normal Kontakt in all my sessions and now I'm suffering
Why is this?
There were updates of older libraries that broke compatibility with Kontakt 6. You can find the installers to downgrade the library here: Previous versions of recently updated Kontakt libraries / compatibility with K6 older libraries
The problem is all NI instruments are going through the transition to the new setup introduced with Kontakt 7 which is becoming a standard across the industry for all virtual instruments. You can continue to use Kontakt 6 alongside Kontakt 7, but as the plugins move over to Kontakt 7 you won't get the benefits of updates to your libraries unless you're using Kontakt 7. But it's easy to leave your MIDI tracks as they are and simply replace Kontakt 6 with Kontakt 7 in your DAW and all should work fine. You'll likely want to do it at some point because the new capabilities in the new scheme introduce a lot of forward looking capabilities such as better bi-directional MIDI protocols which will be a game changer for more advanced operations.
For myself I just bit the bullet and converted everything over so I don't use Kontakt 6 any longer. It required some work, but I thought it was worth it.
I use Kontakt player 7 and after upgrading "Twenty Five" from V1.0 to V2.0 the library disappeared… So I replaced the new library by the V1.0, but when I look in Native Access the release notes of "Twenty Five" still mentions V 2.0, even if the installation path points to the old library V 1.0. And the library still doesn't show up in the Kontakt Player. How can I downgrade Twenty Five in Native Access back to V 1.0?
