So, you make all these products I paid full price for, discounted. If you've heard of deflation, what's the motivation for a previous patron to invest MORE money when, ultimately, the company is just going to devalue what they purchased from them later on?
When you make a product cheaper, it's great for new consumers, but, for long term patrons, like me, everything I bought is now a substantially worse investment. (Not a great economic investment, to begin with.)
If you want more consumers, make cheaper products from the beginning. Why charge $500 plus for a product then decide it was too expensive for your new customers, later on?
I'll keep the products I've already paid for, because I do use them. But, it's highly unlikely that I'll ever spend any of my money on Native Instruments software again. Thanks.
