Bug - Can't scroll further down to see all my plugins

Hi!

I'm experiencing a bug. I can't scroll further down to load my u-he plugins, it just doesn't let me.

It looks like the plugin list only goes as far as the Komplete Kontrol window is big. As a work around I'm loading it on the keyboard, but unfortunately it always loads the VST2 instead of the VST3.

What is your system? I can definitely mouse wheel scroll the full list even with the KK window smaller on my system (M1 Max, Sonoma 14.5)

I presume you are either on Intel or using Rosetta (as you are loading VST2s) - if on Rosetta see if it works when running in native mode

OK I just tested in Rosetta mode just to be sure and it isn't that (at least not for me) - scrolling is still working

OK I guess it might be a Monterey thing then

I just tried the standalone app and when it is at it's smallest size, I can't scroll down to u-he.

But when I increase the size of the window, it works

That's good but it should be scrolling no matter what the size, even if I leave it at the smallest size the mouse wheel still scrolls to the bottom of the list on my system. Not sure if Monterey is still supported officially?

I think macOS 12 is the minimum requirement for Komplete Kontrol 3

I had a similar issue in Native Access 3.13 where it wouldn't scroll. This was on an M1 Mac running Sonoma without the Mac mouse, just this morning.

I think there was some kind of background process getting in the way there. It cleared up after about 10 minutes and hasn't re-occurred (yet).

Is there a special place for that ? I thought creating a thread would do it ?!?

    Dear OP:

This is not a bug. Mac OS 12 is Monterey, which is not in compliance or in support for Komplete Kontrol 3 (if that's the one you are using). You must be on Mac OS 13, Ventura…or the current one, 14, which is Sonoma.

From the product page >> here <<.

    ==========================

    System requirements

    • MIDI 2.0 (requires MacOS 13.5 or higher)
    • MIDI 1.0 (with MacOS 12 or higher)
    • Intel Core i5, Apple M1 (and equivalent or higher)
    • macOS 13, 14
    • Windows 10 or 11 (latest service pack) or higher
    • 8 GB RAM

An internet connection and a graphics card that supports OpenGL 2.1 or higher Direct 3D 11.1 (feature level 11_0) or higher are required to download and activate this product and associated content. Once installed and activated, the product can be used offline

    =================================

If you are indeed on Komplete Kontrol 2 and you're using a MK1 or MK2 controller, then here's how you can create a ticket:

Creating a thread here in the forum will only generate a ticket if an NI person sees your post in the forums and decides to open a ticket.

We have already tagged @Jeremy_NI , who probably doesn't work on weekends. He will get notification of this thread when he comes back to work; whatever day that may be. Hey, NI people can take vacations too!

Here's what you need to do.

Option 1: Wait for Jeremy or another NI person to respond to this thread.

    …or…

    Option 2: Follow these instructions:

    1. Go here: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/sections/360000091538
    2. Select a category tile. In this case it would be "Kontrol".
    3. Log in if requested.
    4. Engage with the chat bot and explain what's going on.
    5. Get transferred to a live person OR if none is available, then the bot will open a ticket for you.
    6. Be available and respond in a timely manner when an NI person gets with you.

==== But at this time, you may have other problems (OS not compatible), so that's the case, then opening a ticket probably won't do you any good.

@KarlKaos I couldn't reproduce the issue on my system but I don't have that many plug-ins and I'm on MacOS 13. I've asked the team if this was flagged before. Will get back here when I get more info.

Thanks, it kinda looks like macOS 13 is required now. Unfortunately my old Intel iMac is stuck on 12 with no upgrade option

Yes and unfortunately if this is only reproducible in MacOS 12 this won't get fixed. You'll have to work around it, sorry!
