Why won't Maschine see samples to scan?

Hi, I am trying to upload samples to use in the library (including many that I have previously loaded) but Maschine sees them as greyed out. They are 16 bit / 44.1k. can't understand why this would be?

    Hello,

    have you tried to open the files via the file browser of maschine? But normally if you've added the location and scanned it, all the wave files should be found under user/samples. How you try to open them, maybe you can make a picture.

    Thanks Use, that was a good suggestion. I did what you suggested and I can load individual samples into Maschine audio from the file browser, but if I try to add a folder into the user library to scan all of its samples, the samples are all shown as greyed out (see pic). So the library sees and scans the folder, but it thinks there's nothing in there.

    And it's like that for all my samples. I don't get it. Why would the file browser be able to see the

    samples, but the library scanner can't?
