Still getting error message loading Kontakt 7 instruments in Cubase 13

Hi all. I have tried all the recommended solutions to getting Cubase 13 to load Kontakt 7, which I already purchased and upgraded, including the lates updates. I followed the video instructions to have Cubase scan for new plugins with the designated file paths. I have virus and other programs disabled. Cubase still doesn’t recognize that I have Kontakt 7, and tells me there is a newer version available. I follow the link, which tells me that I have to purchase Kontakt 7 again. What am I missing here? Any suggestions?

Thank you very much for your responses. I wound up getting Kontakt 7 to be recognized by Cubase 13 by entering Kontakt in the search field for plugins in the VST instruments section of the VST plug-in manager dropdown menu, then refreshing the list of available plugins. Now when I add an instrument track to a project I can use a Kontakt 7 instrument, but if I want to use any of my Kontakt 6 instruments I still have to load my previous version of Kontakt. I guess that’s just the way it works now. Nothing is ever easy…

What error messages are you getting - exactly. Please post as screencap.

If you are getting a message about a "newer" version being available - Kontakt IS being recognized.

Need to see some screencaps to figure this out.

@Tickertune What's your operating system? Are you able to open Kontakt 7 in standalone?

@Tickertune Good catch! Maybe there's a way to categorise your plug-ins in Cubase? Sorry, I'm not a Cubase expert.
