Does Kontakt 7 sometimes rearrange the library order in the left hand list by itself?

Does anyone have a problem with Kontakt 7 partially rearranging the order of the libraries in the left hand vertical list? I'm on v7.8.1 running on a Windows 10 machine, but don't have this problem with Kontakt 5 or 6 that are also installed on this machine.

What are you seeing that makes you think the panel is being sorted differently?

And - Kontakt 7 is now @ v7.10.5 BTW. Just wondering why you are still running 7.8.1…

Hi VP.

The order (top to bottom) is different than what I set them to. On Kontakt 5 and 6 it stays the way I set it.

As to the reason I'm still on 7.8.1: I only update software when there is a good reason to do it. Outside of this problem, 7.8.1 has been fine for me. If this problem is a known bug in 7.8.1, I will update it . . . as long as that problem has specifically been fixed.

Fair enough. How did you specifically set them?

For me - it’s always been alphabetical and never really cared.

Curious to know what you are setting yours to.

I group them by company and put related things next to each other within those groups. More than anything, it's just simply what I'm used to. I remember where things are.

Well, it screwed up my library list arrangement again. It seems like if you go to a different viewing method in v7 (click on Library at the top) and select Brand, the old style list will be screwed up. Nice. What a waste of time.

Oh, and the other great feature of this is that it also screws up the list in Kontakt v5 and v6. Is this a common file between the different versions?
