NI, New gear please!

I currently own X1 mk3, S8, (also own DDJ 1000, FLX 4, P32 ) , I love Traktor gears the most, I upgrade new gear but there is nothing to buy from Traktor, except S4 MK3, I'm scared Traktor releasing a new gear after I buy S4 MK3 … I'm so frustrated…

Now we have Traktor 4, we need new gear now

I love X1 MK3, I wanted to buy Z2 so i can use my ipad wiht Djay pro, but cant find stock, When are you guys releasing new Z1, Z2 with X1 MK3 design theme? it's been a year now

Also S8 MK2, S4 MK4, S5 MK2

Will we see the day Traktor make standalone ?

As most of NI Traktor gear is on the market pretty long now, I expect new gear is coming. But I don't expect it too soon, if it had been almost ready they had postponed Traktor Pro 4 for a few weeks or released it together with TP4.

I don't expect a Z2 Mk2, S5 Mk2 or S8 Mk2 though. No D2 Mk2 also (would love to see that!). All these have been discontinued long ago. That is the reason that you cannot find Z2 on stock anywhere.

I expect maybe a Z1 Mk2 and F1 Mk2 in the design of X1 Mk3 in the future. And of course S2 Mk4, S3 Mk2 and S4 Mk4.

Never say never but wouldn't bet on standalone DJ gear from NI. Traktor was always a software in the first place - all the controllers are just add-ons. Except for Maschine+ NI makes controllers and audio interfaces only as hardware.

I would like a more modular approach as the current S2, S3 and S4 offerings. A Z4 controller which essentially is the mixer unit of S4 Mk3 with audio interface. A Z1 Mk2 as two-channel alternative. A D2 Mk2 as deck controller and as alternative a D1 (deck section of S3) and D3 (deck section of S4 Mk3 with active platters). The deck controllers attachable to the mixer controllers but also useable as single units. But this will never be.

A newer version of Z2 should have been here ages ago. But I think nobody in NI is interested in this at all. Considering how happy they are with stuff as flexible beat grids, key locks, more effects, not trying to get "live stems" and such, I don't think NI has any interest in supporting DVS (turntable) DJ's that much, really… :(

Desperately, DESPERATELY need an updated Z2, a la DJM-11/Rane Seventy Two/Reloop Elite.
