Recently got this hardware, but have been having a couple of problems.
Firstly, there seems to be some kind of current running across the surface of the Maschine. I've experienced this before, on earlier Mac laptops. In one of the rooms in the house the vibration is quite heavy (Even got a shock from my connected headphones). I believe this to be an issue with the specific socket, 'cause when I use it in another room the electric vibration is much less noticeable. But it's still there.
From Google searching, I read it might be something to do with the knobs needing a small amount of current for the capacitive touch to work properly. Not sure if this is the case, and why the current would be felt elsewhere on the case. It seems the adaptor is not earthed? The top pin (3-pronged UK) is just a plastic piece that is there only to opwn the wall socket properly.
The other problem I have is to do with pops and glitches.
This doesn't happen with all kits or on every expansion, so I assumed it must be that certain kits are using heavier processing. However, when this is happening the CPU hovers between 30% & 40%.
Tried bypassing all effects. Made sure the kit is the only thing loaded after fresh start-up. I even suspected it might be a problem with the new 3rd-party SD card I bought, so I reformatted the card the Maschine comes with, and tried with that.
Same issue
Would appreciate some help. Starting to get nervous, as I don't want to lose my right for a 30-day return.
Cheers!
