Traktor Scratch Pro 2 audio 10
Hi I played a gig last night and the turntables didn't respond, I set the audio up properly and nothing only a buzzing sound when I put the needles on the record, the wave also didn't respond to the movement of the needle arm, is there a glitch in audio 10? So frustrated and lost money as well as my reputation as I didn't get to play and walked away in shame…I spent 4 hours trying to get the sound card to communicate with my turntables what must I do Where am I going wrong?

Hello,
have you checked the turntables somewhere else, with a normal vinyl or even via the audio 10. Maybe with another program where you set the correct input. If you hear only a buzzing sound it could be a cable. On the system behind the needle or wherever, not connected or broken.

If the sound card is broken will it make this buzzing sound?

Ok so I tried a normal vinyl and it is very distorted when plugged into the audio 10 sound card, when I plug the cables directly into the mixer it works perfectly so I am thinking that the sound card is broken or blown, thank you Uwe for your help and sorry I didnt see your comments earlier I though you only sent your track on Sound cloud lol

It could, depending on what is broken, does it the soundcard output sound if you play something through the outputs, you can also try another source like am mp3 player CD player and set the input of the 10 to line input. Ohh and if the buzzing sound is not there if you haven't connected anything then it's maybe not the interface. So best is, as I said, you test everything independently, TT with another amp if you have one, what TT do you use? Are the LEDs on top correct, for your settings, and do you have connected the ground wire from the TT?

Yip I did try everything and the LEDs are lit up on the sound card and the grounds for the TT are grounded to the mixer, I even tried grounding the TT ground wire to the sound card. no stress I will take the SC to the music shop tomorrow to test if it is blown or not. Tx Bro
