Can't update payment method

I never had this problem before. I got a new debit card and was trying to update my payment information. I keep getting this error. I contacted my bank and everything is good in that end. Please help.

    Have you already used the card when shopping? Here in Germany you have to pay once in the store without contactless and enter the PIN once so that the card is fully activated. At least that's how I always had to activate my Mastercard.
