Kontakt Upgrade

Hi,

I currently have Kontakt6 & Kontakt5 installed and have been having trouble with the latest updates some plugins like Noire, Lo-Fi Glow & Stradivari Violin have had. They seem to no longer be compatible with the latest version of Kontakt 5 & 6. I have reverted to older versions of Noire, Lo-Fi glow & Stradivari Violin to get them running again.
I would like to know, when i make the upgrade to Kontakt7, will this plugin replace Kontakt6 or will it be a seperate plugin? And when it replaces Kontakt6 will i be able to open older projects with Kontakt6 without problems? (So that i can keep working on these projects without having to duplicate the settings in Kontakt7 manually, is basically what i'm trying to find out)

An upgrade to Kontakt 7 will be a separate instance. And any old projects with K5 or K6 will (generally) NOT auto migrate to K7.

There are a couple DAWs that will assist with auto migrations (Cubase/Nuendo and I believe Logic) but if you are using something else - be prepared to go manual for everything.

Suggest you ensure you do some deep, accurate documentation on all older projects to ensure you know what libraries, what sounds/settings are used well before getting in any install of K7.
