Im wondering if anyone else has had trouble uploading.dll files into maschine? I keep them in a VST folder and so far I haven't gotten any 3rd party VSTs to be recognized and incorporated..
I did find a a fix to this. Apparently the folder needed to only contain the .dll files.. I'm sure this would be the case for other VST files as well. Originally I was trying to keep all the different files together in the folder thinking the maschine would determine and use only the .dll files..
What do you mean "uploading.dll files into maschine"? 🙄 You can not "upload" .dll's… so i am guessing you are just using wrong terminology here….
Anyway, you need to add your VST folders in Maschine's Preferences, otherwise Maschine can not see them… Check the image below to see how.
You can add multiple folders there (if you have many VST folders of course)! In my case, you see just one because i use only VST3, not VST2 .dll's…
