can I release a free Kontakt instrument?

I know the question might sound a bit off, sorry about that, but I can't find any terms and conditions related to this very basic topic. I have a license for Kontakt, the full version, which allows me to save my brand new instruments made with my samples. So, can I make these file available for free download? I understand that they will only work for 15 minutes in the Player version. The information on the NI website mainly addresses third-party developers who need to encrypt their files and sell serial numbers for their instrument's licenses, but I'm talking about releasing them for free. Thanks in advance!

You can share it, as long as it doesn't contain NI samples or copyrighted material. If it's your own material, you're most welcome to share.

As far as I know then as long as that you have the rights to use the sounds and so on that you use to make your Kontakt instruments then you are free to publish the Kontakt instruments. As you mention yourself then the limitation is that non-licensed libraries require the Full version of Kontakt that is the trade off. Otherwise you yourself do not need to pay any fees for using Kontakt to make Kontakt instruments. You only have to pay if you want your Kontakt instruments to be licensed so that they can also be used in the Player version without limitations.
