Traktor Pro 4 is here!

Okay that's good, the CPU display in the demo looks about the same as before, perfect.

Exactly how I feel aswell. @Friedemann_NI

If I upgrade from TP3 to TP4 will my music library carry over - including music from Beatport and Beatsource saved to offline lockers?

If I would buy a new X1 Mk3, S2 Mk3, S3, S4 Mk3 which contain a full Traktor Pro licence just now and would register it today: Would I still get a Traktor Pro 3 licence or already a Traktor Pro 4 licence? In the latter case I maybe would consider getting a X1 Mk3 as it is still just 225€ at some stores. Would get it for 150€ effectively then. 😁

will this work for older hardware ? want to make sure its compatible with S4 Mk2, D2 and F1 ? also im using a midi fighter twister for the effects and love it, will these settings transfer over or work? I loathe re-setting up everything again but would love to try this software.

Hello, this is my first message and I registered exactly for this reason.
I just bought the Kontrol MK3 with the Traktor license a couple of days ago, I really need to pay again for the Traktor 4? does not make me happy to be fair.

Yes, you are all set with that hardware.

@Ghost Fox Usually Traktor keeps the old app and settings as backup upon installation of any update. If any problems arise you can roll back any time. Only data changed after the update will be lost.
But as all new functions are additional and no old features are removed old mappings and settings for Traktor Pro 3 should work just fine. If you want to use new features with your controllers you have of course to remap. Not sure if there are any modified factory mappings for NIs own controllers as I haven't installed TP4 yet.

Great work. I really appreciate the screen flicker fix and no subscriptions. Bring back support for the Kontrol S5?

Great respect for that new release and huge props for that new UI - it looks amazing!
I'm incredibly happy that this has been released, and I understand that as it's only version 4.0 (the first release), the software might not be absolutely perfect yet.
Especially impressive is that you managed to get the stem separation with all its AI models into such a small package size, but its still taking a lot of processing time.
Please forward that following hint to the developers to easily reduce processing time:
By compiling demucs with the cuda version of the torchaudio/PyTorch library, Demucs allows the use of CUDA processors. With CUDA, the separation time for me is around 2-3 seconds. If CUDA is not available, the CPU version is automatically used, which eliminates the task of differencing if the computer is capable of GPU processing.
Infos here:
There are also PyTorch libraries für Metal integration on the Apple Silicon series (via MPS), which are very efficient and can also be used.I can share my package.json for that if needed.
Since CPU generation requires a lot of memory, its on both acceleration modes possible to work with segmenting.
More infos here:It shouldnt be a big task since that project only need to be compiled with different but similar working dependencies.
If youre using Spleeter their are similar approaches aswell:
In general most of that stem seperation libraries work with similar dependencies. (tensorflow, numpy, torch..) That means that hardware acceleration is easy to implement into any stem seperation library which is python based.

I cant believe it. The BROWSERFLICKERING is gone !!! Tested already with my 50k Collection. Thats awesome !
Because of this Fix only i am really happy with the Upgrade. Good work guys !

Probably I'm missing something, but when I right-click on a track in track-browser, I don't have the entry "Generate Stems" available. I'm on Windows and trying to generate stems for local WAV files. Does this feature needs to be enabled in the preferences or do I need to have a certain deck configuration for it?

Yes .

Try to move that music file to Track Collection or into a playlist and right click it their

My point exactly.
