I have bought a B stock Komplete Kontrol mk2.There is no serial number just a device ID.Is it therefore possible to get the serial number from the device ID number.
I just got a Kontrol S49 Mk2 B stock/refurbished unit last week. Bought it from Native Instruments via reverb.com. On the bottom side there is the hardware serial sticker with barcode above the device ID sticker. Got the serial on an leaflet in the box too.
Would expect that every Kontrol keyboard comes with a hardware serial from NI. Someone must have removed this hardware serial sticker. I am afraid only way to obtain the serial and/or software licence is via NI support.
