In general this will work and it doesn't matter so much how you control Traktor. S4 MK3 or any other controller shouldn't really matter. Traktor DVS has its own challenges in this combination.

You need a computer which is capable of running Traktor Pro and Maschine software at the same time - usually all modern computers should do well. Set up Maschine software to use the S4 Mk3 main output. You can synchronize both by using Ableton Link protocol (both Traktor and Maschine support this) but your track decks cannot be Tempo Master anymore then. You can also synchronize with MIDI clock, here is it possible to have a Traktor deck as Master but at least in my setup I had a slight delay in Maschines reaction on tempo changes.

Here is a video from Native Instruments showing integrations of Traktor Pro and Maschine, they are using a Traktor X1 Mk3 but as written it makes no big difference. I just would choose S4 Mk3s audio interface.

An alternative way of audio routing would be to use Maschines interface for Maschine and route its output to one of S4s inputs. This way you are able to set levels on your S4 but sacrifice one of four decks - at least for parts where you use Maschine.
