Traktor S5 + F1 & X1

Thinking about adding Traktor F1 and X1 to my S5 set up. I have a Maschine, but it doesn’t seem to incorporate seamlessly with Traktor Pro. I am a producer and DJ, and have been very content on the production side with Maschine to be clear. I am just wondering should stick to what I already have to add the other two.

PS- I am sure my old S5 is still better than new X1 option so to be honest the true question is with having a Maschine, should I even consider the F1.

It depends on what you want to achieve. X1 doesn't really add much in function to your S5 expect you can have direct access to all four decks and maybe all four fx sections. F1 is neat if you use Remix decks a lot or want to use it in step sequencer mode.

I do use remix decks a lot and yes that what’s I figured considering the X1.

Another option could be to MIDI map your Maschine according to your needs. But I am not sure if remix decks are fully mappable these days. At least in the beginnings of remix decks there were limitations what functions could be mapped at all.

But a F1 is a solid choice for remix decks. It is essentially what it is made for.
