very frustrated - there appears to be no customer service of any kind here - I just bought a product that i can't download or even sign in to get - is this company real?
I just bought a product that i can't download or even sign in to get
First of all then it is important to know on which site that you bought the "ozone 11 elements" , if it were on the iZoptope site or on the N.I. site. If you bought on the N.I. site then to increase confusion then the whole thing constantly is in transition so that products that the other day needed iZotope product portal to redeem now suddenly needs Native Access to redeem.
Example of an NI serial number: GR6U6-BC8KD-97D95-4CD28-XXXXX
Example of an iZotope serial number: SN-MPS5-ENKB-5X39-367B-XXXX
If you bought on the Native Instruments site then you should be able to see any serials connected with your account on the MY PRODUCTS, SERIALS, AND DOWNLOADS page , listed as either Not registered or as Registered Products or listed as third party products at page bottom. If you can not find the serial and have checked mail spam folder then you have to ask respectively N.I. Account Support or iZotope Purchase and Account support
If the serial number format is NI then you should redeem it in Native Access
Please notice that because of the work towards integrating the N.I. and iZotope sites then/if when you log in at the iZotope site then per default your browser probably will use the default user name and password from the Native Instruments site , so if logging in at the iZotope site then be sure to use your izotope log-in credentials at the izotope site when asked for it ! Also do not auto-update password when asked cause that might load the izotope password into the N.I. password saved. Some users using same email at both sites have updated their password to be the same on both sites to try to compensate for the confusion !
If you have an account access problem then you will have to ask Account Support Check this article "I Have No Access to My User Account"
I could understand if you couldnt buy it because it wouldnt download, but the payment part was easy for them - took 3 minutes - this is day 4 of this - bad very bad service
How do you know you do not have it?
Did you restart after installing?
If you really do not have it after downloading this actual installation package then there may be something wrong with your computer or OS.
Have never heard of any issues installing Portal to my knowledge. Always had been solid for me.
VP
Absolutely nothing wrong with my computer - everything else works as normal - I've downloaded things 1000 times more dense than this little thing without a hitch - I have seen quite a few blogs dating back a year with people having exactly the same problem I am - haven't seen any remedies yet - it just blows me away that someone like NI lets this happen and provides no human contact - very sad
Ive downloaded a couple of things from NI a year or so ago - no problem - nothing like this
To be fair this is not an NI installer. And if it simply disappeared on you - there is something else going on here as this is not common.
Suggest you contact Izotope support on this one.
And your Windows Event log will record everything - bad or good. VP
i really appreciate your time - you've spent enough of it on this - if there was such a thing as izotope support this would have been solved 5 minutes after it happened - that's my experience with waves, xln, roland, almost anyone else i've dealt with online
Again thanks for trying to help me - I will find a comparable software somewhere else - it's not there aren't options lol
Izotope installation support can be found here https://nativeinstruments.typeform.com/to/ih9duG0Z
I actually tried the offline thing that said i had "success" but I still dont have the software
Could it be that all this stress is just because you have misunderstood something ? The Ozone 11 does not come as a stand-alone app ! For it to show up you have to open it as a VST3 (?) plug-in
Quote : Ozone Standalone Application (Discontinued) With the introduction of Ozone 10, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue the Ozone standalone application. This also means that there is no standalone version of Ozone 11.
In good order I will still post the iZotope app interface help I made below here :
@PoorFellow
"I actually tried the offline thing that said i had "success" but I still dont have the software"
The way I have been reading this whole thing is the OP does not even have Product Portal - never mind Ozone 11 Elements.
This has been one of the most confusing threads I have read in a long time.
The way I have been reading this whole thing is the OP does not even have Product Portal
You might be right about that too (you are also right about it being confusing 😁) . But to me the most noticeable part became the constant use of the word 'software' rather than plug-in.
@Ty Prauler , iZotope Product Portal download links are here if you need a link.
Well - the OP seems a little reticent in trying to explain his layout, machine, DAW or experience level with any of this. And the general attitude thing about how "difficult" this is - is not helping either.
Not to throw shade on this thread - but I cannot think of any instance - either recent or in the distant past when an iZotope product install (whichever one is really failing here) seemed to go so far off the rails for a user. Product Portal has been accurate and boring to a fault for me - and I have used it since day 1 - for years now.
Have seen the occasional post here and there about issues with sign-in - which NI is not making any easier with their half baked method of merging domains and making users jump through hoops every time they want to access their iZotope-specific accounts (VS NI acct) - but overall - Product Portal is exactly what a product manager (looking at you Native Access) should be.
Hi guys - just got back on here
I just figured out that i am OP lol
You are right - i am not very tech savvy - whenever I have added a plug in, i shopped it, bought it, downloaded it, started using it - 5 or 10 minutes - if I had difficulty I would simply contact someone who would take me through it (on my very basic level)
I apologize if I came across with a bad attitude, but I have people waiting for audio files from me and being as I am in the middle of writing and arranging, an extended interruption of technical stuff gets frustrating very easily.
I really do appreciate you guys trying to help - thanks
So did you notice in the above that Ozone 11 only comes as plug-ins ? And was that the problem - you expecting there to be a stand-alone app ?
"Product Portal has been accurate and boring to a fault for me"
I don't think they could even simplify it more if they tried. My problem with this thread is that the OP doesn't really seem to read (or act upon) the advice given. Just airs his frustration but offers very little in terms of actual information that could help pinpoint the issue. That way it just becomes a guessing game on our end and I'm done playing.
Hi - again I'm sorry to upset you - i appreciate your help and I will figure this out
Thanks again
