"Battery could not be loaded as it may not yet support Apple Silicon or VST2 to VST3 migration."
Anyone have any idea how to correct this? I thought that Battery 4 is compatible with Silicon?
PS I see that there is a post for a Komplete Kontrol walk around to this issue. I am not seeing one for Battery 4. And I dont see an option for a drop down menu in Battery 4 either way.

Same here, and I always keep my stuff up to date with Native Access - at least I thought it would update my stuff to what I need on Apple Silicon.
It affects other instruments as well. It's kind of ridiculous that this is still an issue. Other vendors fixed that and actually I did not even notice a problem at all, like Arturia.

Ha, just found out that Battery also could not be loaded on my MBP on Intel - so there is another issue with it. It's all the Maschine Expansion packs that have this problem, Maschine Essentials seem to load normal, also on Apple Silicon. The error though on my Intel machine is sonewhat different, it just says "Battery could not be loaded".

Haaaa! Another finding just made: in Maschine, DO NOT browse or try to add sounds using the "Instruments" tab. Instead browse and add your kits using the "Groups" tab - and it will load and work on both architectures!

Not a Mac guy but I think I read somewhere (in the forums) that if you are using an Intel MBP - Battery requires Rosetta mode.
Will try to find this reference if I can…

No, Rosetta is for x86 apps that shall run on Apple Silion (ARM)

Same on my side on my Mac MiniM4. I've done a fresh reset and reinstall everything with same result.

Battery is Apple Silicon native, but I suspect the problem here is some of the presets in Maschine were made with the VST2 version, which does require Rosetta as do all NI VST2 versions. In principle those presets should be substituting the VST3 (and native) version but clearly something is interfering with that. There should be an option to use the latest version of NI plugins in Maschine settings/plugins, or even try deleting any older VST2 versions to force using the VST3.
If that still doesn’t work then there might be a bug in the Battery migration code

We are not talking about Apple/Intel but VST2 vs VST3, I already tried to remove everything and re-install all plugins. It seems installer still install VST2 stuff which then leads to this problem.

Neither am I, I'm talking about VST2→3 migration mainly but someone also questioned whether Battery was Silicon compatible so it seemed reasonable to also respond to that.
If someone can tell me which kits are using Battery and getting this error I can see if it happens for me too

I got the same error when trying to load Super8. I recently purchased the Apple M4 Mac mini pro and when I tried launching Super8 in Maschine 3 I get the message it may not yet support Apple Silicon or VST2 to VST3 migration. This is something that needs to be fixed by Native Instruments because it will definitely cause me not to use the software which I've paid too much for.

It is fixed with Super 8 - you are using the old VST3 version which has been replaced by the Reaktor version, which does support Apple Silicon

How do I select the new version and prevent the old VST3 version from launching?

Now its telling me its not activated which makes no sense when its installed as a part of the software bundle in ultimate.

Don't install the VST3 version and remove the VST3, you should have the Reaktor version in your account so install that instead

So are you saying uninstall it I don't know how to fix it now I enabled Rosetta mode so it loads and previews the sounds but won't play anything.
