Exporting Midi from Maschine 2 into Logic - strange behaviour

Hi, here's the question: Maschine is set up as a plugin (stereo or multi) in Logic. After creating a beat, when using the drag and drop function in Maschine 2, I hold the pattern and drop it onto the Maschine track in Logic. But instead creating a midi region on that track, Logic creates 16 new tracks with various Logic instruments and effects and places seperate midi regions on these new tracks.

Anybody have this issue? What am I doing wrong?

Thx

Update: I have the KK Mark2 61 keyboard hooked up in addition to the Maschine + in controller mode. After pressing the KEY MODE button on the KK Mark2 keyboard (now lighting only the 16 keys used by Maschine 2) and using the export function - tara - all works well and a new midi track is created only on the Maschine track, no additional Logic tracks.

    Seems to be a bug…
