lag with some vst

Hi i m trying to use some Izotope plugins like neutron or the other suit ….coz i m not so good at mix and master but , when i use this plugins in my group chaner or single instrument, i get a lag ( inputlag ) Then the tracks go out of time, i have this problem in maschine or cubase so ,,,theres any way to setup…something to fix this ? even if i record as sample, the sample has the tempo or beat changed…so weird.

    In audio we call it latency, in this case plugin induced latency.

    If a plugin has heavy processing / advanced features focused on 'quality' it will add latency, (look ahead, oversampling, etc..) Many plugins add a bit of latency usually imperceptible but iZotope's offerings are generally really noticeable. (100-400ms is a LOT).

    There is no way around it, Cubase and all big DAW's have PDC (Plugin Delay Compensation) what it does is delay all other tracks so they have the same delay as the one that causes the most latency, so things end up in sync but… still "laggy".

    Maschine does not have PDC, I'd avoid using heavy plugins in Maschine and leave the advanced mixing for after the production is done, AKA trackout your music and finish it on Cubase.
