What version of Traktor Pro are you running?

You need at least 3.10, better 3.11

Do you have Native Access 2 installed? If not, this may explain why you couldn't update to 3.11.1.

no i think its my OS im 10.13.6 mac os and 3.5.3 is the latest trasktor pro i can use on that OS and my laptop being a 2015 model it wont update to a newer OS.. im gonna get a x1 mk1 and return the mk3… :(

If your Mac is really a 2015 model you can update it at least up to macOS 11 Big Sur. You can use the current version of Traktor Pro 3 on Big Sur and therefore your X1 Mk3 too. Many 2015 Macs even support macOS 12 Monterey.

In any case: Do yourself a favor; don‘t get an X1 Mk1! Get at least a Mk2 model. Mk1 isn‘t officially supported on macOS 10.12 Sierra or newer. You can get it work up to 10.14 with original software if you follow some special steps and even with current macOS with a third party software. But Mk2 should work out of the box and is officially supported by NI on newer macOS versions.

As explained above: Get Traktor Pro 3 3.7.0 and your S4 Mk3 will work even with Mojave.

This version of Traktor still supports macOS 10.14 and also S4 Mk3.

    X1 Mk3 needs at least Traktor Pro 3.10.0 though. S4 Mk3 works with 3.7.0

I am sorry, was bit confused as you wrote S4 now, just answered in another thread about S4 Mk3 with an older MacBook from the start and thought I was answering there at first.
