Komplete audio 6 mkII, no user manual and I/Os question.

Hi, I'm baffled they are not even offering a user manual...that's dumb.
And I need to know how behaves the I/Os.

Idea is to use the 6 outputs to feed a modular and outboard gear.

If i buy this interface I'll invest later in s/pdif eurorack module to plug on 5/6.

Thing is i don't know if those outputs are real separate outs, usable as
six mono outs or 3 stereo pairs...or if any of them outs duplicates the
MAIN OUT instead of being a proper multi out interface.
Side note: I use Ableton Live.

Anyone knows ? Thanks

NI: potential buyers and users deserves a proper User manual. Not a beginner's quickstart guide. Greediness at its finest ? 🤑

I suspect you’ve already seen this and it doesn’t help you, but just in case, see the below link, specifically where it says “Take a closer look”

Copy of the message sent to support last week:

…checked your quickstart, beginner's level videos, asked on forums,
no answer so far to very simple questions I would have been able to
answer myself if N.I created a proper user manual for it.  I'm baffled your
company didn't, considering how extensive some of your manuals are, or
    were.

I need to know if any of the outputs used as mono outs or
stereo pairs duplicates the sound of any of the other outputs. Or if
they are real separate outs ?

Happens too often that the main out is duplicated on 3-4 or 5-6 and you can't use it as proper individual outs

I'd like to have 2 distinct headphones mix, one for me, one mix for my
singer. Am i able to feed the headphones outs separately as long as I do
the routing in my d.a.w ?

The use case i expect with this interface, is using all of its I/OS, alltogether, no monitors plugged in.
Having 1 or 2 headphones connected, using it as previously stated.

OUTs 1 &  2 will be used as mono or stereo channels to feed external
effects and will Return on INs 1 & 2 as mono or stereo channels at
    my will, to be printed.

OUTs 3 & 4 will be used as 2 CV or audio outs channels to feed a a dc coupled amplifier module in a
Eurorack modular synth (Klavis Tweaker) . Returns on INs 3 & 4 to be
    printed mono or stereo.

Digi OUTS 5 & 6 will be used to feed a Eurorack s/pdif <> analog converter https://boredbrainmusic.com/product/spdf/ Digi INs 5 & 6 returns to be printed mono or stereo.

I'd want to be free to use all the I/Os, doing all this at the same
time.  Is this interface up to the task or have hidden limitations ?

Thanks again for your help, already lost too many time seeking for the info.

@NOoneis As my colleague from support already said, the KA6 MK2 is probably not the best interface for such a complex setup.

You can technically use the 6 outputs as mono oututs or stereo pairs, you can route those any way you'd like with a DAW.

You can't have 2 separate sources to the headphone outputs.

The KA6 MK2 is dc coupled but the range is not the full -5v/+5v, it's -2v/+2v.

Thanks for chiming in, thing is it does not matter KA6II is not full range regarding CV as it will be plugged into an amplifier. I know it can't be, being USB powered. Plus, i will not use it for oscillators, critical tuning, but trig, gates and modulations. For my use case I think it's perfect.

If they are separate outs then KA6II is ideal for my setup to the contrary. I'll live with the limitation on headphones if everything else is ok. Ordered it.

That's the thing, modulation is usually 10v or -5v/+10v, it won't be accurate with a range of -2v/+2v. Shouldn't be a problem for gates and triggers.
