Calibration Failed Deck B

Setup:

Z2 Mixer

Control Vinyl MK2 (New)

Needles

PC: i9 13900KF

192 Samples

2 ms USB Buffer

I have encountered an issue after playing for extensive periods of time. It continues after resetting software, restarting computer.

About an hour into sets, one channel chooses not to calibrate. I have changed buffer sizes, re-routed channels, tested input levels, tested cables, changed tempo settings, Auto/master sync settings, reset tempo. Nothing.

Attempted vinyl mode and signal works fine, needles are fine, swapped DVS records, and signal is strong. Issue happens in Deck B , I swapped deck B by routing to deck D, it chooses to work only if I play from deck D. Calibrates, fine on deck D, A and C using same needles, DVS record, turntable, physical connection is on Channel B phono. Deck B although signal meter shows is just as strong, calibration stays grayed out, says to check needles and record. Calibration fails.

I have a suspicion it might be a glitch in the software for a deck that is playing for a long time? or some deck setting I have not figured out.

Any ideas?

Thank You for commenting! It is still happening. I was hoping a really strong CPU would plow through. Seems right Windows 10 could be the culprit. I have been trying to summon the problem because it went away for a day, but came back. I get the feeling aggressive tempo changes on turntables, scratching, changing tempo master back and forth, turning off sync. Windows code cant keep up with aggressive playing?

Here I routed Deck B signal to D and it plays just fine

Signal is strong, and buffer size is fine for my system, I have tried all of them. none work.

I attempted to re-route channels, maybe it was an issue with the signal. It does not seem to be the case.

I can confirm this issue in Win10, I don’t think I ever had it in macOS, sometimes the workaround is switch line/phono input but most times I have to restart traktor.

yes I usually have the deck B issue at startup, restart traktor, fixed. But only at my home setup win10 traktor 3.11 , I remember having this issue since traktor 3.7.

My live setup is macOS Mojave traktor 3.4 and I don’t remember having any issues
