Any way to only install VST3 and not VST2 please?

Hi all

I might be wrong (memory not as great as it once was), but I think that when I used to install NI programs without using Native Access, it gave me the choice of whether I wanted VST3, VST or AU?

I've installed all of K14 CE on my Mac, and in Studio One I have duplicate entries for everything (except Absynth as there's no VST3) as both VST and VST3 have been installed.

OK I can tell Studio One to hide VST2 plugins but that will also hide Absynth.

I don't seem to be having any of the problems others are having with Native Access, but my new install has thrown up the above problem.

Ideally I'd like to select just VST3 for everything except Absynth.

You're not alone, Arturia has done exactly the same.

removing the VST2 files isn't that hard, just thought I'd mention it.

Thanks

Unfortunately no, the best you can do is install everything then delete the VST2 files you don't need. Hopefully at some point the installer will let you select which you want, but not just yet!
